Step 1: Create or log in to your Lenovo ID
- Go to the Lenovo Support site.
- If you don't have an account, click "My Account" to create a free Lenovo ID.
- If you have an account, log in with your credentials.
Step 2: Register your device
- Once logged in, find and click the "Register Product & Services" tile or link under "Related Services".
- You can also go directly to the Device & Service Registration page.
- Select "Device(s)" when asked what you would like to register.
- Choose whether you are registering "For yourself or organisation" or "On behalf of someone else".
Step 3: Enter your serial number or let the tool detect it
- Manual entry: Type the serial number of your laptop into the provided field and click "Submit". You can find the serial number on the bottom or side of your laptop.
- Automatic detection: Click "Detect my device" and have the app find the serial number for you. You will need the Lenovo Service Bridge app installed for this to work.
- QR Code: Some laptops have a QR code on the palm rest that can be scanned to identify the product.
Step 4: Confirm and complete
- Review the device details and warranty information on the next page.
- Confirm the details are correct to complete your registration.
