Tarsus Distribution is excited to introduce a new payment option for COD (Cash on Delivery) partner accounts, making it easier, faster, and safer to pay online orders. Now, you can complete purchases using credit, debit cards, or Instant EFT through PayFast, a secure, mobile-optimised payment gateway.

How it works
When you place an online order, you'll see two payment options at checkout if your selected Tarsus Account is set as COD:

• Traditional EFT option: Pay using your usual payment methods after placing the order.
• New payment gateway option: Choose “Credit/debit card/Instant EFT" if you want to complete your order securely through PayFast during the ‘Shipping and billing’ step.

• Once you have selected this option, click ‘Process’ once you’re happy with your order and delivery details. You’ll proceed to ‘Confirm your order’, check your order details once more, and then click on ‘Proceed to PayFast’.

• You will be redirected to a secure payment portal, where you will enter your payment details and complete the payment process.
• Once this is done, you'll be redirected back to TDP and receive an email from PayFast confirming your payment and that your order process is complete.

We provide secure online payment facilities, ensuring all transactions are encrypted using advanced encryption technologies.

Available payment methods:

• Credit & Cheque Cards: Transactions are processed securely via PayFast. Additional verification may be required for authorisation. If authorisation fails, your order will be cancelled. You must ensure sufficient funds are available.
• Debit Cards: Similar verification requirements apply. Authorisation is mandatory, and delivery may be withheld until completed.
• Instant EFT, Samsung Pay, SnapScan, Zapper, QR Payments, RCS & Mobicred: Flexible, secure, convenient options. These options may be changed or updated at any time. 

Security and merchant information:

All payments occur through PayFast using SSL3 encryption, with no card details stored. Transactions are processed in ZAR under South African law.
